Barb, Jack, and I are in the Travel Trailer again. Spending the night in beautiful "downtown" Pahrump, Nevada heading toward Astoria, Oregon. Some of you may remember that this is the town in the movie "Goonies!" Then some of you don't even know about the movie Goonies!
Anyway, I was able to purchase this "extremely" slow service for 24 hours and am going to try to do a couple of devotions tonight but anything can happen. Keep looking! I'll eventually get caught up again.
We are having the time of our lives. Right now we are parked for a couple of nights at the edge of a 7 acre lake in Pahrump, Nevada just to rest up before taking off toward Lake Tahoe in a day or two.
Barb has never seen Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada so they are stops on the way. Then up to Salem, Oregon and finally to Astoria which is at the Northwestern most point of the state of Oregon.
We will take in those sights and head home via Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) and will try to stop and get as much beach time as possible. If all goes well (and we both stay well), we hope to be gone fr about 6 weeks altogether.
I'm really appreciating the freedom that has been given to Barb and I. Of course, "Capt. Jack" had to make the trip with us. Nobody to dog-sit for that long. Besides, he is a good traveling dog.
Anyway, don't forget that God loves you, and you deserve to be loved. "I'll be back!"
